First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks (SPSIPB and SAPB) for pain control during lung surgery that does not require a breathing tube. About 70 adults aged 18-65 will be randomly assigned to receive one of the blocks. The goal is to see which block reduces the need for anesthesia and painkillers during and after surgery, helping patients recover faster with fewer side effects.
