New pain block may reduce morphine use after hip surgery

Summary

This study compares two nerve block methods to control pain after a second hip replacement. Fifty adults will be randomly assigned to receive either a newer PENG block or a combination of three standard blocks. The goal is to see which approach reduces the need for morphine and improves pain scores in the first days after surgery.
