Summary
This study looks at whether being afraid of pain before gallbladder surgery leads to more pain afterward. About 106 adults having planned gallbladder removal will answer questions about their fear of pain before surgery and rate their pain at several times after. The goal is to help nurses and doctors better manage pain and improve recovery.
