First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving children ibuprofen syrup 30 minutes before dental treatment can reduce pain and anxiety. It includes 46 children aged 6–12 with a condition called molar incisor hypomineralization (MIH), which makes teeth sensitive and hard to numb. Pain and anxiety are measured using special scales and heart rate monitors. The goal is to find a simple way to make dental visits more comfortable for these children.
