Heart block study tests if new pacemaker placement is better

NCT ID NCT07276490

Summary

This study is comparing two different ways to place a pacemaker in people with a specific heart rhythm problem called atrioventricular block. Researchers want to see if placing the pacemaker wire in a newer location (the heart's natural conduction system) works better than the standard location (the right ventricle) over one year. They will measure which method better controls central blood pressure, improves heart function, and enhances patients' quality of life.
