Heart study tests which pacemaker setting best prevents future hospitalizations

NCT ID NCT07314008

Summary

This study aims to find the best way to program pacemakers for people whose hearts beat too slowly. Researchers will compare two different programming strategies to see which one is more effective at preventing serious problems like death, heart failure hospital stays, or long-lasting irregular heartbeats. About 440 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two strategies and followed for two years.
