Can a faster pacemaker beat ease the strain of stiff heart disease?

Summary
This study is testing if setting a pacemaker to a slightly faster minimum heart rate can help people with a specific type of stiff heart disease (ATTR cardiac amyloidosis) feel better and be more active. It will involve about 34 patients who already have a pacemaker. Each participant will try both a standard and a higher pacemaker setting in a random order to see which one improves their quality of life and walking ability.
