New pacemaker technique aims to stop heart damage before it starts
NCT ID NCT05214365
Summary
This study is testing whether a newer pacemaker placement method called 'conduction system pacing' can prevent heart damage better than the standard method. Researchers will follow 200 adults who need pacemakers for slow heart rhythms, checking their heart function for one year. The goal is to see if the newer approach keeps the heart pumping more naturally and prevents weakening.
