Summary
This study follows 500 people with dual-chamber pacemakers to see how the pacemaker's programming affects the development of permanent atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat). Researchers will track heart rhythm, quality of life, hospital visits, and deaths over time. The goal is to learn which settings work best to prevent long-term heart problems.
