New allergy spray tested in first human safety trial

NCT ID NCT07345442

Summary

This early-stage study tested the safety and how the body processes a new nasal spray called PA9159, intended for treating allergic rhinitis (hay fever). It involved 36 healthy Chinese adults who received either the spray or a placebo for one day or seven days. The main goal was to check for side effects and see how the drug moves through the body at different dose levels.
