Summary
This study looked at whether adding a dexamethasone implant (Ozurdex) to standard bevacizumab (Avastin) eye injections could reduce the number of injections needed for people with non-ischemic central retinal vein occlusion. Sixty-eight participants received either Avastin plus a sham procedure or Avastin plus Ozurdex. The main goal was to count how many Avastin injections were needed over 24 weeks.
