First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding a steroid implant (Ozurdex) to standard Avastin eye injections can reduce the number of injections needed for people with a blocked vein in the eye (non-ischemic central retinal vein occlusion). 68 adults participated. The main goal was to count how many Avastin injections were needed over 24 weeks. The approach aims to control the disease and improve vision with fewer treatments.
