Summary
This study looked at whether adding ozone therapy to standard gum surgery improves healing for people with severe gum disease (stage III periodontitis). Twenty-four adults received surgery on both sides of their mouth, with one side also getting ozone treatment. Researchers measured gum health over 12 months to see if ozone made a difference.
