Summary
This study looked at whether adding ozone gas to standard deep-cleaning treatment helps people with gum disease. 18 healthy adults received standard cleaning on one side of their mouth and standard cleaning plus ozone on the other side. Researchers measured gum pocket depth, plaque, and other signs of gum health to see if ozone made a difference.
