First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests whether a wound dressing with ozonated oil can reduce early inflammation after open inguinal hernia surgery. About 60 adults having elective hernia repair will receive either the ozonated oil dressing or a standard one. Researchers will measure redness, swelling, pain, and wound healing over the first 30 days to see if the special dressing improves recovery.
