NCT ID NCT06460948

First seen May 13, 2026 ยท Last updated May 13, 2026

Summary

This study looked at how a single dose of estrogen-progestin affects oxytocin levels in people with arginine vasopressin deficiency (AVD) compared to healthy volunteers. Researchers measured oxytocin in blood and saliva over 48 hours and checked for links to anxiety, depression, and quality of life. The goal was to better understand oxytocin deficiency in AVD, not to treat it.
