Scientists probe 'Love Hormone' to map how we feel

NCT ID NCT07425938

Summary

This study aims to understand how a hormone called oxytocin, delivered via a nasal spray, changes how the brain processes emotions. Researchers will study 120 healthy men using brain scans and questionnaires to see if the hormone works by entering the brain directly or through the bloodstream. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about the pathways involved, not to treat any condition.
