Doctors probe why some patients struggle to breathe after surgery
NCT ID NCT07401589
Summary
This study aims to understand what factors might affect a patient's oxygen levels right after gallbladder surgery. Researchers will observe 100 adults having this routine surgery and measure their oxygen levels. They will look for connections with the patient's weight, risk of sleep apnea, and the type of pain relief used, but will not change any standard care.
