New study aims to reduce needles in lung surgery oxygen checks

Summary
This study will check if a non-invasive finger clip oxygen monitor can give the same information as blood tests during one-lung ventilation in thoracic surgery. It will involve 51 adults having planned chest surgery. The goal is to see if the simpler method is reliable enough for routine use.
