New monitor aims to sound alarm sooner for breathing trouble in surgery

NCT ID NCT07415161

Summary

This study is testing a new type of oxygen monitor to see if it can give doctors an earlier warning when a patient's oxygen levels are starting to drop during throat surgery. It will compare this new monitor to the standard one currently used. The goal is to see if the earlier warning helps doctors act faster to keep patients safe during these delicate procedures.
