Simple oxygen mask could be key to better brain bleed recovery

NCT ID NCT07343232

Summary

This study is testing if a simple oxygen mask can help patients recover better after a severe brain bleed. Many patients breathe too fast after this type of stroke, which can reduce blood flow to the brain and cause more damage. Researchers want to see if having patients breathe oxygen through a special mask can safely correct this fast breathing and lead to better recovery for 80 participants.
