Summary
This study tested whether a medication called oxybutynin could effectively reduce excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) in adults. 62 participants with moderate to severe sweating were randomly assigned to receive either the real medication or a placebo pill. Researchers measured changes in sweating severity and quality of life to see if the treatment worked.
