First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study compares two ways to help people with both substance use and mental health disorders avoid overdose and improve their well-being. About 208 adults will be randomly assigned to either a comprehensive team program called MISSION or to work one-on-one with a Peer Specialist. Researchers will track substance use, mental health symptoms, and recovery progress over time to see which approach works better.
