New study tests better way to treat pelvic pain without major surgery

Summary
This study compares two minimally invasive procedures to treat chronic pelvic pain caused by enlarged veins in the pelvis (pelvic congestion syndrome). 60 women aged 18-50 with long-term pelvic pain will receive either foam plus medical glue or foam plus tiny metal coils to block the problematic vein. The goal is to see which method reduces pain and symptoms more effectively over 18 months.
