New study tests better way to treat debilitating pelvic pain without major surgery

Summary
This study compares two minimally invasive procedures to treat chronic pelvic pain from pelvic congestion syndrome. 60 women aged 18-50 with pelvic pain lasting at least 6 months will receive either foam plus glue or foam plus coils to block the faulty ovarian vein. The goal is to see which method reduces pain and symptoms more effectively over 18 months.
