Ovarian puncture may boost egg count in women with low reserve
NCT ID NCT07568639
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether making small punctures in the ovary during egg retrieval can help women with low ovarian reserve (DOR) produce more eggs in a later cycle. About 214 women undergoing IVF will be randomly assigned to get the puncture procedure or standard care. The main goal is to see if the puncture increases the number of eggs retrieved in the next stimulation cycle.
