Virus therapy trial offers new hope for tough ovarian cancers

Summary
This study is testing if a modified virus called Olvi-Vec, given directly into the abdomen, can help chemotherapy work better for women with ovarian cancer that has stopped responding to standard platinum drugs. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the virus followed by chemotherapy, or their doctor's choice of chemotherapy alone. The main goal is to see if the virus combination helps keep the cancer from growing for a longer time.
