Targeted radiation 'Paint' tested to keep ovarian cancer at bay
NCT ID NCT06504147
Summary
This study is testing if a single, targeted radiation injection given directly into the abdomen after standard chemotherapy and surgery can help control advanced ovarian cancer for longer. It is for patients whose cancer has spread within the abdomen and who have a specific genetic profile (HR proficient). The main goal is to see if this treatment delays the cancer's return compared to not receiving the injection.
