New hope for ovarian cancer: targeted drug combo takes on resistant tumors
NCT ID NCT07504588
First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests whether a new combination of two drugs (sacituzumab govitecan and bevacizumab) works better than the standard treatment for a specific type of ovarian cancer. The cancer must have come back after initial platinum therapy and stopped responding to a PARP inhibitor. About 87 women with BRCA mutations or related DNA repair problems will take part. The goal is to see if the new combo can delay cancer growth longer than standard care.
