Summary
This study tested if adding the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab (Keytruda) to standard chemotherapy before surgery could better control advanced ovarian cancer that couldn't be operated on right away. It involved 91 women with stage IV disease. The goal was to see if the combination helped shrink tumors more effectively, making them easier to remove completely during a later surgery.
