New hope for Tough-to-Treat ovarian cancers?

NCT ID NCT02101775

Summary

This study is testing if adding an experimental drug called AZD1775 to a standard chemotherapy (gemcitabine) works better than the chemotherapy alone. It is for women whose ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer has returned and stopped responding to platinum-based drugs. The main goal is to see if the combination can keep the cancer from growing for a longer period of time.
