Scientists hunt clues in ovarian Cancer's treatment mystery
NCT ID NCT07361471
Summary
This study aims to discover what makes some ovarian cancer patients respond well to platinum-based chemotherapy for many years, while others stop responding quickly. Researchers will compare 55 patients from two groups: those who remained cancer-free for over 5 years after treatment and those whose cancer progressed during initial treatment. They will examine medical records, tissue samples, and genetic information to identify patterns that might explain these different treatment outcomes.
