New glowing dyes could guide surgeons in ovarian cancer operations

NCT ID NCT05937620

Summary

This study is testing two special dyes to help surgeons see the first lymph nodes that ovarian cancer might spread to. Researchers will inject these dyes into 62 patients with early-stage ovarian cancer during surgery to see which method works better for creating a map. The goal is to improve the accuracy of lymph node removal, which could help tailor surgery and potentially reduce complications.
