New study tests delaying ovary removal to avoid early menopause in high-risk women

Summary
This study looks at three approaches for women with BRCA mutations who are at high risk for ovarian cancer: regular screening, removing both fallopian tubes and ovaries at once, or removing just the tubes first and the ovaries later. The goal is to see if delaying ovary removal helps women avoid early menopause while still lowering cancer risk. About 80 premenopausal women aged 30-47 are taking part.
