New drug aims to keep ovarian cancer at bay after chemotherapy
NCT ID NCT03519230
Summary
This study is testing whether a drug called BGB-290 (pamiparib) can help keep ovarian cancer from coming back in patients whose cancer returned but then responded well to platinum-based chemotherapy. It compares the drug to a placebo (inactive pill) as a long-term maintenance treatment. The main goal is to see if the drug can extend the time patients live without their cancer getting worse.
