Blood test breakthrough study seeks to catch ovarian cancer earlier

NCT ID NCT07491081

Summary

This study aims to improve methods for collecting and processing blood samples that could one day help detect ovarian cancer earlier. Researchers will recruit 1,500 postmenopausal women in Australia to donate blood and provide health information. The main goal is to understand how shipping and storage affect tiny particles in blood that might signal cancer, which could make future screening tests more reliable.
