Quick clinic visit could ease heavy periods for women
NCT ID NCT05856838
Summary
This study is testing whether a medical procedure called NovaSure endometrial ablation can be successfully performed in an outpatient clinic to treat heavy menstrual bleeding. The procedure uses radiofrequency energy to remove the uterine lining. Researchers will enroll 30 women to see how acceptable and feasible the procedure is when done with only local anesthesia and a short recovery time.
