Can learning outside boost Kids' science skills and ease stress?
NCT ID NCT07147634
Summary
This study aims to find out if teaching science classes outdoors improves learning and well-being for 5th and 6th grade students compared to traditional indoor classes. About 1,000 students from schools in the Montreal area will participate in either outdoor or indoor science lessons for 2 hours a week over 5 weeks. Researchers will measure students' science observation skills, connection to nature, stress levels, and feelings about climate change before and after the program.
