Summary
This study tested a special discharge checklist for people with a new ostomy (a surgically created opening for waste). Researchers compared 80 adults who received the checklist plus standard training to those who only got standard training. The goal was to see if the checklist helped them adapt to their ostomy and improve their quality of life.
