Can a few questions predict brittle bones? researchers test simple screening tools

NCT ID NCT07402772

Summary

This study aims to see if two short, simple questionnaires (the OST and ORAI tools) can accurately identify postmenopausal women at high risk for osteoporosis, potentially making screening easier and more accessible. Researchers will compare the results of these questionnaires against the standard bone density scan (DEXA) in 1,500 women in Turkey. The goal is to find a quicker, low-cost first step to help more women get diagnosed early.
