Quick quiz vs. gold standard: can a simple score predict brittle bones in men?

NCT ID NCT07518212

First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests two easy-to-use risk score tools (OST and MORES) to see how well they can identify osteoporosis in Turkish men aged 50-75, compared to the standard DEXA bone density scan. Researchers will check if these questionnaires are accurate enough to be used as a first screening step. The goal is to find a simpler, cheaper way to catch osteoporosis early in men.
