Summary
This study followed 912 older adults in France who were hospitalized with serious bone fractures from osteoporosis. Researchers tracked these patients for up to 5 years to understand their recovery, how many experienced another serious fracture, and their survival rates. The goal was to gather better information about what happens to people after these types of fractures to improve future care.
