Can Hands-On therapy ease widespread pain?
NCT ID NCT02343237
Summary
This study tested whether a 6-week course of osteopathic treatment could reduce pain and improve quality of life for people with fibromyalgia. It involved 101 adults with long-term fibromyalgia who received either real osteopathic sessions or a standard treatment for comparison. Researchers measured pain levels, fatigue, sleep, and daily function over a year to see if the hands-on therapy provided lasting relief.
