Can Hands-On therapy ease recovery after back surgery?
NCT ID NCT06802120
Summary
This study is testing whether adding osteopathic treatment to standard physical therapy helps people recover better after spinal fusion surgery. Researchers will compare real osteopathic care to a placebo treatment in 40 patients who recently had this back surgery. The goal is to see if this hands-on approach reduces pain and disability while improving quality of life during recovery.
