Summary
This study aims to understand what happens inside the joints of people with severe hip or knee osteoarthritis. Researchers will collect and analyze tissue samples from 1,000 patients who are already scheduled for joint replacement surgery. They will measure levels of metals and immune system markers to see if deficiencies or imbalances are linked to the joint damage.
