First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested a new stent (a small mesh tube) to open blocked or narrowed arteries in the pelvis and leg. 75 people with moderate to severe leg pain or early tissue damage received the stent. The main goal was to see if the stent safely kept the artery open for 9 months without major problems like limb loss or needing another procedure.
