Doctors test using fewer plates in jaw surgery
NCT ID NCT07418684
Summary
This study aims to see if using two custom-made titanium plates works as well as four plates for accurately repositioning the upper jaw during corrective surgery. Researchers will compare the surgical results against the pre-surgery virtual plan in 10 patients. The goal is to determine if fewer plates can provide the same precision while reducing hardware in the body.
