Can walking more make braces hurt less?

NCT ID NCT05615688

Summary

This study looked at whether people who are more physically active feel less pain from orthodontic spacers (small rubber bands placed between teeth). Researchers tracked the daily step counts and pain levels of 94 healthy volunteers aged 15-49 for one week after the spacers were placed. The goal was to see if higher activity levels could predict or reduce the common discomfort from this dental procedure.
