Summary

This study looks at how a medication that blocks the brain chemical orexin affects emotions and learning in 62 healthy adults aged 18-40. Participants take a single dose of daridorexant or a placebo and then complete computer tasks measuring emotional responses and thinking skills. The goal is to understand orexin's role in conditions like depression and anxiety, not to treat any disease.
