New combo therapy shows promise in ovarian cancer battle

Summary
This study tests whether adding the immunotherapy drug oregovomab to standard chemotherapy can help people with advanced ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer. About 88 newly diagnosed patients will receive either the drug combo or chemo alone before surgery. The main goal is to see if the combination delays cancer growth for at least 12 months.
